Getting to Rhedyn by public transport.
The Traws Cymru T4 Bus Service links Newtown to Cardiff and its free! This long distance service is funded by the Welsh government and Powys County Council and is the first of a series of similar sevices to be introduced over the next few years across Wales. The T4 - known as The Route With a View - travels through some beautiful scenery and is being promoted by focussing on newtown, LLandindrod Wells, Builth Wells, Brecon, and Storey Arms, enabling passengers to plan their day out in the countryside.
National trains will take you to Abergavenny, Hereford or Shrewsbury. We are about one hour from Abergavenny and Hereford. For details contact the trainline.
Coaches: National Express will also get you to Abergavenny or Hereford.
From either of these points you can get local buses to Builth Wells. We are happy to pick you up from there.
There is also a wonderful train line called The Heart of Wales Line which travels between Shrewsbury and Swansea. It is a very picturesque route with delightful views along the way. Rhedyn Guesthouse is less than a mile from one of their stations, Cilmeri and we will also be happy to pick you up. Just remember to tell the conductor that you want to get off at Cilmeri. It is a request stop.
